Mary McCormack, an American actor, is known for her role as the main character in TV shows such as "The West Wing, 'In Plain Sight,' as well as Loaded.' Born to a clinical therapist and an ice cream store manager, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the world of entertainment. She was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce from her parents around the year 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a bachelor's degree in comparative arts.
